The predicted salary is between 22950 - 28050 Β£ per year.

We are working closely with Wirral MBC to assist with the appointment of a Personal Assistant, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.

The Personal Assistant will provide professional and proactive organisational support to the Council's Leadership Team, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring effective day-to-day executive support.

The role involves managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing documents and presentations, handling confidential information, managing correspondence, taking minutes, and ensuring actions are followed up within agreed timescales.

The postholder will work within a Corporate Support Hub, providing flexible support across the Leadership Team and maintaining strong relationships with senior managers, elected members, members of the public and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional PA and administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Manage complex and conflicting diaries, meetings and appointments.
  • Coordinate meetings, including agendas, papers, venues, invitations and technology.
  • Take accurate minutes and monitor actions arising from meetings.
  • Manage correspondence, emails and enquiries, ensuring timely responses.
  • Previous experience providing personal assistant or senior administrative support.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience of minute taking.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
