We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Herefordshire to assist with the appointment of a Delivery and Improvement Officer, on a 3‑month contract, highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion.
Responsibilities
- Play a central role in coordinating the delivery of the Community Wellbeing Transformation Strategy, supporting programme management, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across the directorate, including Adult Social Care.
- Support the delivery of transformation programmes and service improvement plans across the Community Wellbeing Directorate.
- Coordinate project and programme activity, ensuring effective governance, reporting, risk management, and documentation.
- Work closely with Senior Responsible Officers and key stakeholders to monitor progress, milestones, and outcomes.
- Prepare reports, briefings, presentations, and decision‑making documentation for senior leaders and governance boards.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and organisational change programmes.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a project, programme, transformation, or service improvement environment.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting complex programmes, change initiatives, or transformation projects.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
