We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Monmouthshire to assist with the appointment of a Grounds Operative, on a 8-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., To deliver high-quality grounds maintenance and street cleansing services across public spaces, schools, and contracted sites. The role involves working with external and internal clients to maintain a safe, clean, and sustainable environment., Carry out grounds maintenance activities including mowing, planting, pruning, and verge upkeep.
Maintain public open spaces, schools, and other contracted areas to high standards.
Undertake street services tasks such as litter picking, responding to fly-tipping, and ensuring local environmental quality.
Liaise with clients including housing associations, health trusts, police, developers, and other partners.
Work individually or as part of a team to deliver efficient, visible, and sustainable services.
Experience in grounds maintenance or similar outdoor work.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Good communication skills for engaging with clients and colleagues.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Commitment to health and safety standards.
