We are working closely with Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of an Estate Services Manager, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. The Estate Services Ground Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and managing a grounds maintenance team to deliver high-quality estate services. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, carrying out estate inspections, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing staff performance, coordinating contractors, and maintaining excellent customer service for residents. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Grounds Maintenance team to deliver high-quality estate services.
- Carry out regular estate inspections and report repairs, compliance issues, and tenancy concerns.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, COSHH, and lone working procedures.
- Manage staff performance through one-to-one meetings, coaching, and training.
- Plan and schedule seasonal and project works.
- Experience working within a Grounds Maintenance environment.
- Proven experience leading, managing, and motivating a team.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, including risk assessments, COSHH, and lone working procedures.
- Experience carrying out estate inspections and reporting repairs or compliance issues.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category C1) with no more than 5 penalty points.
