Overview

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of an EP&S Support Officer, on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client\\\’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of pay: Β£13.47- Β£16.31 per hour

Hours per week: 29.60

Responsibilities

  • Process moderated Pupil Education Plans (PEPs), ensuring allocated funding is committed and liaising with the Virtual School Head on any outstanding elements.
  • Maintain the Welfare Call Management Information System, ensuring all information relating to children in care is accurate and up to date.
  • Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and provide budget monitoring advice and recommendations to the Virtual School Head.
  • Undertake additional duties appropriate to the grade of the role, as required.

Essentials / Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • GCSEs (Grades A-C / 4-9) in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Experience using financial or accounting systems (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar).
  • Previous experience in administrative and/or financial support roles.

Requirements

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have right to work in UK.
