We are working closely with a local authority in Waltham Forest to assist with the appointment of a Residential Care Home Manager on a 6.5‑month contract, highly likely to be extended at the client’s discretion. The London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Care Home Manager to lead the day‑to‑day management and continuous development of Mapleton Road Care Home, providing high‑quality residential care for older people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the home operates in full compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, statutory regulations, and best practice in adult social care.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, promoting person‑centred care and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
- Manage budgets and occupancy, ensuring optimal operational performance.

- Experience managing residential services for individuals living with dementia.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations, standards, and inspection frameworks.
- Sound understanding of adult social care legislation, safeguarding, and residential care standards.
