We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Westminster to assist with the appointment of an Electrical Team Client Representative - Access Control, on a 6.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion. The Electrical Team Client Representative (Access Control) will support the management and monitoring of electrical and access control contracts across a large residential property portfolio. The role focuses on contractor performance, compliance, repairs and maintenance, resident engagement, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across access control, CCTV, warden call, and related electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of contractors delivering repairs, maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Monitor contractor performance against service standards and KPIs.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure works are completed to required standards.
- Produce reports on works, variations, inspections, payments, and contract performance.
- Investigate service failures and coordinate corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent) or Access Control Engineering qualification.
- Experience in residential repairs and maintenance services.
- Experience managing or monitoring access control, CCTV, electrical, or related M&E contracts.
- Strong contract management and contractor performance monitoring experience.
- Experience handling resident complaints and service enquiries.
- Ability to carry out site inspections and assess quality of work.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
