Overview
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Caretaker, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay
Rate of Pay: £15.86 – £21.13 per hour
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine caretaking duties including cleaning, minor repairs, and maintenance of communal areas.
- Ensure buildings, facilities, and surrounding areas are safe, clean, and well maintained.
- Report repairs, hazards, or safety concerns to the appropriate teams.
- Support residents and colleagues by providing access, moving equipment, and assisting with general requests.
- Lock/unlock premises and ensure security of buildings.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, cleaning, or a similar maintenance role.
- Basic knowledge of health & safety procedures.
- Ability to carry out manual labour and use equipment/tools safely.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, reliable approach.

You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
