We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Officer (GR3) to join Birmingham Children\’s Trust. You will play a vital role in supporting frontline services by ensuring high-quality administrative functions, assisting social work teams, and maintaining data integrity that directly impacts children, young people, and families in Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely business support to internal and external customers.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Business Support Assistants and monitor team output.
- Manage sensitive and confidential data while ensuring GDPR and policy compliance.
- Organise and minute sensitive meetings, generate reports, and handle correspondence.
- Support financial admin tasks, inventory, and troubleshoot basic IT issues.
Requirements:
- Experience in administrative or business support roles, ideally within the public sector or social care.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and case/data management systems.
