Business Support Officer – 6‑month contract (likely to be extended at client’s discretion).
Provide administrative support to the Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team, ensuring cases are accurately recorded, monitored, and progressed to resolution. The role involves managing case information, supporting contractors and technical officers, handling customer enquiries, producing performance data, and helping improve housing conditions for tenants.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track damp, mould and disrepair cases from referral through to resolution.
- Raise repair orders, book appointments, process invoices and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, surveyors, technical officers and legal services.
- Respond to customer enquiries, concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
- Support contract management and monitor case progress against targets.
- Produce reports, performance data and management information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
- Strong administrative and case management experience.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Experience raising work orders, booking appointments and processing invoices.
- Good IT skills with experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working in a customer‑focused environment.
