We are working closely with a local authority in Milton to assist with the appointment of a n Assistant Surveyor, on a 6-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.

Rate of Pay:

Β£14.21- Β£18.66 per hour

Hours per week : 29.60

Summary:

The Assistant Surveyor - Garages will support the effective management and administration of the Council's garage portfolio, ensuring that property records, occupancy information, inspections, licences, repairs and compliance information are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update digital systems, databases and spreadsheets, ensuring information is accurate, securely stored and managed in accordance with Council policies and GDPR requirements.
  • Prepare and issue garage licence agreements and ensure all associated documentation is completed accurately.
  • Identify and resolve routine property management issues, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
  • Support asset management activities, including property rationalisation, planning and service development.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Property Management or a similar relevant qualification, or equivalent relevant practical experience.
  • Knowledge of property records, budgetary systems and property-related legal documentation.

Essentials:

  • Experience of working within property management, estates management or asset management.
  • Experience of dealing with routine property transactions, including licences, consents and related documentation
  • Experience of monitoring income and undertaking account reconciliation, particularly in relation to service charges.

  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires Standard DBS
