Bracken Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a well-known Design & Build Main Contractor in London. The organisation that we represent are a market leader within the industry and have been building a fantastic reputation within the market for the standards and high quality that they have produced over the years. The Role:
- Ensure that project runs on time and on budget
- Provide strong leadership skills and communicate accordingly to all of the construction team
- Liaise with the Commercial team regularly
- Ensuring that all Safety Management Systems are in place and in operation
- Liaise with Client on a regular basis with updates etc
- Prepare progress reports
- Assess all project risks
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of the project to avoid future issues
- Mentoring Junior Project Managers and setting them tasks and objectives.
Experience:
- 5 years+ experience in a similar role
- Relevant Construction related Degree or vocational equivalent
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and achieve targets
- Strong relationship builder who can work as part of a site team
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to plan and manage your time effectively
- Conscientious and hard-working
