Bracken Recruitment have an exciting opportunity of an experienced Commercial Manager for international Consultancy for projects in Portugal. The company that we represent are a market leader and have an extremely strong pipeline of work moving forward. You will be representing the client in the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre. Provide commercial support on behalf of the developer/client and oversee the performance of the appointed PMO consultancy from a commercial perspective, ensuring their delivery aligns with the developer’s objectives, controls and governance standards. General Responsibilities: Oversee procurement and tendering activity on site across CSA and MEP packages Supporting bid evaluation, commercial workshops and award recommendations, with upfront strategy already defined by the developer’s procurement team Oversee and liaise with the wider commercial team, consultants and cost managers supporting the programme Oversee the relationships between surveyors and operations, ensuring co-operation and engagement that allows for successful projects which support the achievement of the business objectives and that you are able to deliver the agreed budgeted margins. Participate in group-wide forums and initiatives and contribute fully to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures. Oversee end-to-end Capex management on site, with the PMO owning day-to-day budget setting, forecasting, cash flow, change control and variance reporting — ensuring outputs meet the developer’s standards and reporting needs. Liaise with Senior Operations Management to ensure that the project forecasts positions are accurate against the target margin and profit plans. Ensure that all contractual processes, correspondence and documentation are stored correctly. Liaise with Senior Management Team on contractual matters  Ensure profit plans are understood for each scheme/project and monitor and deliver on agreed areas and work on identifying further areas for recovery. Requirements: 10 Years plus BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course Professional membership of appropriate body Leadership experience with the ability to influence at all levels.
