Grade/Scale: Teacher Pay Scale - MPS / UPS

Contract: 27 hours per week (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

Overview: Bracken Hill School is an all-age Special School for children aged 4 to 18 years, who have a range of complex educational needs with associated social and emotional difficulties, and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and purposeful learning that supports pupils to develop communication, independence and confidence.
  • Plan and adapt learning carefully so that activities help pupils secure the intended knowledge and skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and strengthen our curriculum across all pathways.
  • Use assessment effectively to understand pupil progress and inform future learning.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and work closely with families and other professionals.
