Field and In-House Service includes positions focused on providing technical support, maintenance, repair, and customer service for products and systems both on-site (field service) and at company facilities (in-house service).

Job Purpose: The role of the In-house Engineer is to support the maintenance and growth of Bracco's device business across the UK by providing consistent high quality service of devices. This role is responsible for completing pre-installation checks, in-house diagnostics and repairs and reporting relevant findings.

  • Completion of in-house diagnoses and rectification of all Bracco related products.
  • Accurate documentation and reporting
  • Trend common faults and report to relevant parties

Main Responsibilities

  • Shall implement and work to all regulatory and quality requirements stipulated within Bracco UK Ltd
  • Shall implement and work to all applicable health, safety and environmental requirements stipulated by HSE manual, HSE policies and HSE objectives.
  • Identify and engage with continuous improvements projects.
  • Engage with the sales and field service teams to ensure a smooth and high-quality product is achieved from point of sale through to installation completion.
  • Report any PAE/PQI effectively and quickly.
  • National travel where business needs.
  • On occasion deliver installation and repair items
  • Providing remote assistance to end-users using desktop applications, chat features, emails, and phone assistance to customers
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues remotely to help end-users.
  • Giving users step-by-step instructions for resolving technological issues
  • Responding and following up quickly to technical questions and escalating complex technical issues to appropriate teams
  • Collaborating with on-site technicians and customer support teams
  • Perform any other tasks and duties as reasonably requested by the company.
  • Responsible for operating to the instructions contained in all relevant company effective SOPs including adverse events and product complaints.

Professional Experience & Knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience with device installations and diagnostics, preferably within the Medical device industry
  • Competent using relevant systems and tools including CRM (Salesforce.com) and ERP (SAP)
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a highly regulated industry (required)
