Job Purpose

The Deputy Manager supports in driving growth and operational excellence within the Microfinance Progoti portfolio. This role contributes to the development and implementation of new products and initiatives, assists in data analysis and reporting, and facilitates coordination between operations and support functions to ensure smooth execution of strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying new client segments and market opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of new products, services, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate with support functions to ensure operational alignment.
  • Monitor progress of operational initiatives and report on key milestones.
  • Conduct preliminary data analysis and risk assessments for branches.
  • Track KPIs and prepare performance reports for review.
  • Maintain communication with internal stakeholders and support project documentation.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme\\\'s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
