We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant to join our busy and rapidly expanding team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of a forward‑thinking organisation, supporting senior management and ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast‑paced setting.
Hours of Work: full time
Salary: £26,500 and £28,500 gross per annum (Depending On Experience)
As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the MD and top management. Your duties will include:
- Preparing meeting minutes
- Organising travel arrangements including hotel, flights, trains, and preparing detailed itineraries
- Calculating and providing Daily Allowance (DA)
- Creating memos and acknowledgement forms
- Arranging meetings with agents and stakeholders
- Managing travel receipts
- Collecting monthly reports
- Coordinating meetings such as MANCOMM and Monthly Compliance Committee (MCC)
- Assisting with quarterly board preparations
- Handling day‑to‑day communications
- Providing overall support to senior leadership
Any other tasks assigned by your Line Manager will also be part of your role, making it a varied and engaging position.
Executive Assistant Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar secretarial role
- Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant administrative software
- A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise and adapt quickly
