A Corporate Business Development Manager (BDM) for a money transfer Company works to expand the network of partners (such as global payment institutions, banks, FinTechs) that use their platform to send money across the world. This role involves managing and developing aggregator business with a deep understanding of the global migrant remittance business and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline & Revenue Growth: Identify and secure new aggregator business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding.
- Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, bank partners, and money service businesses (MSBs).
- Market Strategy: Analyze market trends to identify new target sectors and regions for cross-border payment expansion.
- Compliance & Integration: Collaborate with internal risk, compliance, and product teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4+ years in B2B sales, specifically within fintech, payment services, or FX.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of payment APIs, cross-border payment flows.
