We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join our Private Client team in our Liverpool office. Our award-winning Private Client & Charity group is one of the largest in the North West. The team was awarded the ‘Private Client Award’ at the 2017 & 2019 Liverpool Law Society Legal Awards. The team has a Tier 1 ranking in the Legal 500 and we are the only law firm in the North West ranked in Private Client Practitioner's top 25.

The team works with HNW individuals, families, business owners and trustees on a range of private client matters including wills and probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts and tax and estate planning. Due to the continued growth of the team, we are looking to recruit an experienced paralegal to provide support to the team on a range of private client matters and also manage a caseload of probate files. We will consider candidates who are looking to work on a full or part time basis for this role.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience of working within a private client department with the ability to pro-actively prioritise and complete work to a high standard.
  • Experience of working on probate matters.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be willing to work independently where required (but with appropriate level of supervision as needed).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, written and verbal.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Managing multiple tasks across a number of files and cases.
  • Balancing deadlines, collaborating within the private client department.
  • Providing strong administrative support to the team to enable high levels of client service delivery.
  • Handling a caseload of probate files.
  • Drafting letters and correspondence.
