We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our specialist Recruitment and Workforce Solutions team. The specialist team has significant experience and expertise in all areas of recruitment law, working with employers and recruiters of all sizes and handling director disputes, exit strategies, settlement agreements, employment contracts, and service agreements. The team also advises on redundancies and reorganisations, TUPE, outsourcing, employment tribunal claims, data protection issues, complex discrimination cases, post-termination obligations, IR35, and general recruitment issues arising from using and supplying temporary workers and contractors.
As part of this role, you will specialise in delivering comprehensive services to a diverse range of businesses within the recruitment sector. Ideally, we are looking for a Solicitor with the experience below; however, we would consider applications from experienced employment solicitors who have a strong interest in this sector and are keen to specialise in this field.
- Experience of supplying legal services to a range of businesses in the Recruitment & Workforce Solutions sector including employment agencies, employment businesses, umbrella companies, professional employment organisations, master and neutral vendors.
- Engaging and communicating with a variety of stakeholders to satisfactorily resolve legal queries and disputes.
- Public speaking experience to diverse audiences.
- Advising clients on contentious and non-contentious sector legal issues.
- Working with a team to successfully manage Employment Tribunal litigation and resolving employment-related disputes through ACAS, Mediation, and negotiations.
- Advising and managing sector regulatory investigations on behalf of clients.
- Advising on status, IR35, gig economy, and CIS issues.
- Working with litigation, corporate, and commercial colleagues to deliver sector client projects.
