Overview

Brabners is seeking a Construction Lawyer to join our team in Liverpool, England. The role involves providing proactive, commercially focused construction legal support across all aspects of construction services, protecting client interests and mitigating risk throughout the lifecycle of a project. You will be part of a team trusted by clients to deliver strategic legal advice that drives results, from contract negotiation and risk management to dispute resolution and project delivery. The opportunity includes working on interesting and complex cases and potential career development. We welcome applications from experienced construction lawyers with expertise in either contentious or non-contentious matters and are open minded on levels of experience, as long as you share our values and are committed to delivering the right outcomes for our clients. Flexible or remote working arrangements are also available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, commercially focused construction law advice across all stages of a project, including contract negotiation, risk management and project delivery.
  • Assist with dispute resolution, including contentious matters, and support non-contentious matters as part of a broad construction practice.
  • Work within Brabners’ construction team to deliver strategic guidance and protect client interests while mitigating risk.
  • Engage with clients to understand needs and contribute to career development within a team of experienced professionals.
  • Participate in flexible or remote working arrangements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experienced construction lawyers with expertise in either contentious or non-contentious matters.
  • Open-minded on levels of experience, provided you are committed to delivering the right outcomes for clients and share our values.
  • Willingness to work flexibly on location; opportunities for remote or flexible working offered, with consideration for candidates based in any Brabners office.
