Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO & Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) (previously known as SAP Project Systems) Consultant with expertise in both SAP S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud solutions to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and controlling, with a focus on implementing and optimising SAP FICO and EPPM modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementations in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (or on premise deployment) and Public Cloud. SAP ECC experience in these areas will also be considered.
The candidate will be knowledgeable in accounting and fiscal legislation to credible lead workshops and solution design and understand required outcomes accurately.
The candidate will have experience working with SAP ECC Project Systems or SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management and understand who these are used to manage and control project, such as engineer to order, capture material and labour costs and integrate these into FICO.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technical consultants, to deliver customised SAP solutions that enhance business efficiency, compliance, and financial insight.
Main Duties
- SAP FICO Cloud Implementation: Lead and support the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO modules in a cloud-based enironment (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud). Leerage deep expertise in S/4HANA implementation on public and private cloud platforms.
- Business Process Analysis: Conduct in-depth business process analysis for finance and controlling functions, identifying areas for system improement and automation.
- Solution Design and Customisation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document functional requirements and create optimised FICO configurations tailored to business needs.
- Data Migration: Lead and support data migration efforts for FICO modules including AP, AR, GL, and Chart of Accounts, ensuring data integrity and seamless transition from legacy systems to SAP Cloud.
- Integration: Work on the integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD) and external systems, ensuring a cohesie and efficient ecosystem. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO processes with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Create and execute test scripts to alidate the functionality of the SAP FICO modules, ensuring system accuracy and reliability.
- Training and Documentation: Proide end-user training and create documentation to support business users in efficiently utilising SAP FICO solutions.
- Post-Go-Lie Support: Offer ongoing support for SAP FICO issues, enhancements, and updates after deployment, ensuring smooth operation and system stability.
Experience
- 5+ years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a cloud-based SAP enironment (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud).
- Proen track record of SAP FICO implementation, customisation, and support.
- Proen track record of successful S/4HANA implementations on public and private cloud platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and Chart of Accounts processes.
- Strong integration skills, particularly with non-SAP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectiely interact with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in SAP FICO module configurations (General Ledger, Accounts Receiable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders).
- Solid understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance standards.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and related FICO functionalities.
- Familiarity with cloud data migration tools and techniques.
- SAP FIORI knowledge is an adantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP FICO certification, particularly in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other reporting/analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
