B&Q Yeading Shifts available Monday – Sunday, 7:00 am – 10:00 pm. Full‑time, 36.75 hours per week, 3‑month fixed‑term contract. UK notional hourly rate £14.75 per hour (inclusive of £0.90 per hour store‑specific location allowance). PLEASE NOTE – heavy lifting required.

As a Store Delivery Driver you’ll deliver exceptional customer service and ensure that deliveries are received in excellent condition and on time – every time.

What’s the job? Deliver in our 3.5‑ton vans – from a tin of paint to 30 packs of flooring. You will be comfortable doing heavy lifting and supporting customers in setting up their purchases. When not delivering, you will work on the shop floor using new technology to fulfil orders and support colleagues. Efficiency, safety and customer first representation of the B&Q brand are essential.

Responsibilities
  • A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans no matter how busy things get.
  • Organised and analytical thinker, able to keep things simple.
  • Will be supplied with a 3.5T van, training and all necessary kit.
  • Manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1), held for at least a year with no more than 6 points.
  • Previous experience as a multi‑drop delivery driver is useful but not essential.
  • Flexible to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
  • Verification checks through Experian, DVLA and DBS, with discrepancies discussed directly.
