A great team needs a great leader and your role as a Sales Team Manager is to lead two of the most strategically important areas of our store — Showrooms and TradePoint. You’ll bring together dynamic, sales-focused teams and create a culture where every colleague is confident, proactive, and laser-focused on fulfilling B&Q’s ambition of making every customer count. You’ll make a real difference through sales coaching and performance leadership and build a high-performing team.

In this role you will:

  • Support our sales colleagues to build deep product knowledge and be confident to sell.
  • Use customer insights and performance data to spot opportunities and respond at pace.
  • Build strong local customer relationships, with a focus on Tradespeople.

Our Sales Team Managers are key to running our business by leading the team to deliver effective stock management and to make every customer count. In this role, you should be leading in a way that demonstrates the following qualities:

  • You enjoy observing, listening and communicating ways to continuously improve and celebrate success.
  • Are comfortable having meaningful discussions about performance.
  • At your best building rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Like to be well planned and organised and thrive in being agile with your plans when needed.
  • Natural analytical rigour and can spot opportunities to increase sales.
