What’s the job?

As a Shift Lead you are pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You’ll oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. B&Q’s ambition is to make every customer count, so you’ll strive to ensure B&Q is a place colleagues love to work, and customers love to shop.

In this role you will:

  • Be the heartbeat of the store day‑to‑day and ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Deploy colleagues correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
  • Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
  • Ensure our store is safe at all times.
