9 months Fixed Term Contract; salary up to £40,000 plus pension, PMI, ShareSave, 6.6 weeks holiday, hybrid working (2 days per week in the office). Location: Southampton, Store Support Office.
Role Purpose
Support the Digital agenda for Supply chain by maximizing online enablement and channel availability. Work cross‑functionally with Digital teams to get new products online and available. Use Supply Chain knowledge to bring innovative thinking to a broad set of supply, logistical and operational challenges across all B&Q product areas and multiple routes to market.
Responsibilities
- Manage Home Delivery and Click & Collect availability from stores, fulfillment centres and Direct Supply Vendor sites.
- Deliver range exit and new product launches according to agreed plan and timeline; liaise with cross‑functional teams and digital pilots.
- Set up new products accurately and launch them on the website in line with agreed dates.
- Ensure product data integrity across digital systems (SAP, Riversands & ATG) to support smooth customer order flow.
- Influence and support development of the Digital Supply Chain to optimize technical processes and procedures for customer experience.
- Convert the Digital First supply strategy into an operational plan that delivers across all KPIs.
- Problem‑solve issues to enhance customer journey.
- Manage digital projects from a Supply Chain perspective with high accuracy, detail and curiosity.
- Build and maintain relationships across multiple functions; keep plans and progress well communicated to stakeholders.
- Develop existing and create new processes and tools to optimize project delivery and efficiency.
- Provide detailed action‑focused analysis and reporting to support decision making.
What We Need
- Ability to analyze complex data to identify root cause and best solution.
- Experience with forecasting and replenishment systems; SAP advantage.
- Understanding of improving key performance measures.
