Checkouts Customer Advisor – Part time
Join the B&Q Guildford store as a part‑time Checkouts Customer Advisor for a 3‑month fixed‑term contract. Work 14.25 hours per week, 7:00 am – 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday. The notional hourly rate is £13.78 per hour, including a £1.07 store‑specific location allowance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service at the checkout, including sales, click & collect and set‑up of displays.
- Assist customers with home‑improvement advice and an understanding of stores and product categories.
- Work with the team to maintain a neat, welcoming checkout area.
- Participate in on‑the‑till training and develop product knowledge.

- Friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic about home improvement.
- Strong customer‑focus and ability to work within a team.
- Flexible to work a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
