About the role Customer Advisor Part time – 30 hours per week 3 Month Fixed Term Contract Shifts available Monday – Friday, 5.00pm – 11.00pm UK Notional hourly rate £13.25 per hour (Inclusive of an 54p per hour, store specific location allowance. Plus an additional £2 per hour between 10pm – 5am) B&Q Chester *Colleagues under 18 are not permitted to work between 10pm-6am We believe anyone can improve their home to make life better. Key responsibilities Join our team, and you\’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You\’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim. Required skills & experience Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you\’ll be right at home with us. You\’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others. You\’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You\’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays. What\’s in it for me?
