We are offering a position as a Product Owner for Checkout and Price at B&Q. Based in our Southampton Store Support office, the role comes with a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £59,000 along with a benefits package including a pension scheme, PMI, ShareSave options, and 6.6 weeks of holiday. Responsibilities
- Set a clear vision and roadmap for the product driven by a robust understanding of customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with B&Q teams, KITS, 3rd parties, and product teams to define new demand ensuring it is well understood and aligned with customer insight.
- Manage backlog for the product ensuring priorities are clearly understood based on technical complexity and business value.
- Work with teams and delivery lead on planning product releases, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment with business priorities.
- Define MVP and acceptance criteria by understanding all business and customer requirements.
- Track key metrics with stakeholders to measure output and delivery results against objectives.
- Collaborate with B&Q teams, KITS, and 3rd parties across all key development activities.
- Help create an agile culture within B&Q, particularly within technology project areas.
- Support the identification of improvements to ways of working within B&Q and Kingfisher group.
- Drive innovation into the product through test and learn approaches.
Qualifications
- Experience working with customer research and data to define new products and propositions for customers.
- Experience working in Agile including Backlog Management.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Experience with significant stakeholder management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work with ambiguity and challenge.
- Training or certification in Agile methodology (preferable).
- Retail technology experience.
