Join us as an Ecommerce content testing coordinator and you’ll be a big part of this.
As an E‑commerce Content and Testing Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our business, working closely with the B&Q Digital team and wider Group Digital team. You’ll work closely with the Content Optimisation Lead to align the ecommerce testing roadmap with business opportunities, stakeholder priorities and interests. Supporting in key content projects including the implementation of legislation changes and maintaining our guidelines and principles. Collaborative and agile, clear in communication and honest, you will be a team player capable of working across a business that is on a mission to make home improvement accessible to everyone.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the ecommerce team testing roadmap across all sites, apps and testing tools.
- Aid team in the formation of hypothesis, KPI's, estimated test duration and creation of test demand.
- Running regular ideation sessions with ecommerce stakeholders to ensure we deliver testing to support business objectives.
- Interpret and communicate results and next steps with the ability to ideate.
- Form close relationships with key stakeholders to help prioritise ecommerce testing and increase testing velocity over time.
- Be the ecommerce voice in testing council conversations.
- Work with group centre of excellence to define and follow testing best practice.
- Help to instil a culture of testing across the ecommerce and wider business teams, upskilling in testing best practice and promoting a test first, build later mentality.
- Work with the E-commerce Optimisation Manager to shape the long‑term product testing plan.
- Immerse yourself in insights and learning from competitor analysis, user research and qualitative and quantitative data to inform new ideas and optimisation.
- Ensure demand to support legislation changes impacting content, data & imagery are prioritised on the technology roadmap.
- Supports Content Optimisation Lead to deliver key projects to develop process efficiencies to enable improvements to the Product Details Page.
- Maintains and updates guidelines & principles for content and imagery quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Ecommerce Manager or similar roles with a strong commercial background preferred.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
- Experience running and scaling ecommerce testing programmes.
- Confident working with ambiguity.
- Comfortable with technical conversations - initiating and understanding them.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience with PIM & DAM systems would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience with testing platforms such as Optimizely.
