In this role you will translate ecommerce and digital data into actionable insights that support category growth, channel performance, and marketplace strategies. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, evaluate promotions, and shape digital decisions with robust analytics. You'll work on forecasting and optimising customer journeys while bringing external market thinking to enhance our analytics approach.   • Develop analyses on ecommerce performance, customer behaviour, product mix dynamics, market trends, and digital insights needs
  • Conduct deep-dive performance analysis to identify actionable insights for action
  • Deliver reviews on digital promotions, seasonal events, and trading initiatives
  • Support strategic ecommerce initiatives across categories, channels, digital optimisation, Marketplace and Retail Media
  • Interpret internal and external data sources (e.g., SimilarWeb) to spot opportunities, risks and market developments
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across Ecommerce, Marketplace, Commercial, Product, Marketing, Retail Media and others to inform decisions
  • Explore predictive modelling and advanced methods to enhance insight generation
  • Collaborate with analytics, data, and technology teams on definitions, governance, tagging, and scalable ways of working
  • Support development of consistent reporting, insight frameworks and best practices across Digital Analytics
  • Bring external market thinking to evolve the team's approach and value delivery
  • Help define website tagging requirements to ensure robust data accuracy

Key requirements

  • Analytics background with proficiency in SQL to extract and structure data
  • Experience with core digital analytics tools (Google Analytics) and awareness of additional platforms (Contentsquare)
  • Experience in digital/ecommerce analytics, understanding customer journeys and trading performance
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, BigQuery) for large datasets
  • Ability to define problems, apply robust methods, and deliver with attention to detail
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to translate analytics into clear insights for diverse audiences
  • Understanding of data quality, governance, tagging, and analytical definitions
  • Commercial awareness to connect analysis to customer experience and business outcomes
  • Experience with Agile tools (Asana, Jira, Confluence) to organise work
  • Curious, proactive, customer-focused, with teamwork mindset and a drive to improve analytics impact
