Overview
Marketplace Compliance Administrator 12 Month FTC, Maternity Cover £29,000 + Pension + PMI + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + Hybrid Working (2/3 days in the office) Southampton, Store Support Office.
Acting as a key member of the Marketplace Legal Compliance Team in the pre‑and post‑live monitoring of products listed on our marketplace along with ensuring processes are maintained and followed and IT systems correctly utilised.
What's the job?
- Undertaking the administrative functions for onboarding products including receiving, logging and distributing compliance documentation.
- Engaging with merchants to request further documentation or answer queries in relation to the onboarding process.
- Working with the Marketplace team to ensure merchants are able to swiftly and efficiently list their products.
- Where appropriate, engaging with merchants in respect of products which are unable to be listed following assessment, including reviewing output from a suite of AI tools.
- Engaging in post‑live monitoring of products sold on the marketplace and taking appropriate action on relevant products or referring for action by another member of the team.
- Having a key role in logging issues received from across the business, liaising where possible or directing to an appropriate team member.
- Engaging in subject‑specific monitoring of the marketplace.
- Maintaining and, where appropriate, updating the various procedures and processes.
- Assisting the team and Legal Compliance Manager on other ad‑hoc matters as appropriate.
What we need:
- Experience in a retail/digital/commercial environment.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Aptitude for swiftly learning other software applications, e.g. Salesforce.
- Attention to detail.
- Able and comfortable with working autonomously as necessary.
- Capable of working to tight deadlines.
- Willingness and curiosity to engage in understanding Marketplace and associated compliance.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Maturity of attitude and not be afraid to email or pick up the phone.
- Proactive self‑starter.
