Permanent position with a salary of up to £50,000 plus benefits including pension, PMI, ShareSave, 6.6 weeks holiday, and hybrid working (1 day per week in the office) based in Southampton, Store Support Office.

We’re looking for an Insights Analyst to join our growing Analytics & Data Science team at an exciting time. Data is playing an increasingly important role across our business, shaping decisions across customer, loyalty, supply chain, and logistics.

What's the job?

  • Use data to uncover insights that drive better business decisions and improve customer outcomes.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling stories and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Customer, Digital, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Commercial teams.
  • Tackle a wide range of business problems, from customer behaviour and performance optimisation to operational efficiency.
  • Deliver deep-dive analysis and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing and supporting decision-making at all levels.
  • Support experimentation and test-and-learn approaches, bringing creativity and new ideas to how we solve problems.
  • Work collaboratively with analysts and data scientists to deliver impactful analytical solutions.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and data-driven thinking.

What we need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with complex datasets.
  • SQL skills, with experience in Python and/or R (desirable).
  • Experience working in cloud-based data environments (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • The ability to translate data into clear insight and compelling storytelling.
  • A passion for understanding customers and putting them at the heart of decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across different areas of the business.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • A proactive mindset — not afraid to take risks, test ideas, and try new approaches.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
