Your role is to build management capability across B&Q by designing and delivering practical, engaging learning that supports Retail leaders and our Stepping Up programme.
What's the job?
- Management & Leadership Facilitation: Facilitate engaging, high-quality leadership and management learning experiences and programmes, both virtually and face to face. Create inclusive, people-centred learning environments that bring learning to life and deliver a consistently strong colleague experience. Actively seek feedback and insight to continuously improve the quality, relevance and impact of facilitation. Model a coaching and learning-led approach, encouraging reflection, ownership and application beyond the session.
- Management & Leadership Design: Work in close partnership with the Management Capability Manager, stakeholders and colleagues across the business to understand current and future capability needs, desired outcomes and gaps, ensuring learning is grounded in operational reality. Design and deliver learning experiences and programmes that are stretching, engaging and aligned to our ambitious People Plan. Test, pilot and evolve learning solutions, involving retail colleagues throughout the design process to ensure learning is practical, relevant and impactful.
- Learning Insight, Impact & Evaluation: Support and challenge leaders and colleagues to embed learning back in role, championing a strong learning-culture mindset. Contribute to the evaluation of the Accelerated Leadership Development Programme and Stepping Up learning experiences, using insight to understand impact and inform continuous improvement. Use insight to help leaders take accountability for learning embedment, not just participation.

- Commercially aware and customer-focused, understanding when to be flexible and agile to meet business needs.
