What's the job?
Your role as a Sales Lead is to support the Sales Team Manager to create a truly inclusive high performing team across Showroom and Tradepoint.
It’s B&Q’s ambition to make every customer count, so you will support the day-to-day activities that will enable the team to exceed sales targets through ensuring a fantastic end to end customer experience.
In this role you will
- Support the day-to-day activities that will enable the team to exceed sales targets.
- Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
- Be the first point of contact for customers and colleague escalations in Showrooms + Trade Point.
- Support the Sales Team Manager with collation of analytical data to make informed decisions.
What we need
Our sales leads are key to running our business through our Showroom and Tradepoint sales teams. In this role, we’re looking for the following qualities:
- Role model customer service and enjoy customer interactions.
- Comfortable with IT systems and applications.
- Like to analyse data and can see the important information to communicate.
- Love to problem solve, the trickier the better.
- Well planned and organised, with the ability to prioritise and think on your feet.
