Job Title: Store Delivery Driver – B&Q Peterborough
Shifts: Monday – Sunday, 7:00 am – 10:00 pm (Part‑time: 28.5 hrs per week, Permanent contract)
Overview
Deliver a wide range of items from 3.5‑ton vans to customers’ homes in the Peterborough area. You will also support shop‑floor operations, use new technology to fulfil orders, and uphold B&Q’s brand standards.
What’s the job?
Handle deliveries ranging from a tin of paint to 30 packs of flooring. Heavy lifting is required. Represent B&Q with excellent customer service, ensuring orders are delivered in excellent condition and on time.
What We Need
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
- Organised, analytical thinker.
- Manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1, valid ≥ 1 year, ≤ 6 points).
- Previous multi‑drop delivery experience helpful but not essential.
- Flexible work rota (weekends, evenings, bank holidays).
- Willingness to pass safety checks: Experian/DVLA and DBS.
