Join Our Dynamic Financial Planning Team as a Paraplanner

Are you ready to be an essential part of a thriving financial advisory team? We are seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to support our financial planning team.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile compliant case files to include: data gathering, provider liaison, analysis of existing arrangements, whole market research, suitability reports and submit applications and track new business; all to a high professional standard.
• Prioritise your own workload and complete tasks within specified timescales and deadlines.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, grammar and spelling are key essential attributes.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Paraplanning work experience in an independent financial advice practice.
• Advanced pensions experience is preferred as our business advises on pre, at and post retirement planning; including drawdown, pension switching, SIPPs and SSAS.
• Good working knowledge of Iress XPLAN, Defaqto Engage, CashCalc, Assureweb, O&M Pension Profiler and ATEB Suitability, plus Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Hold an appropriate financial planning Diploma Level 4 or other Paraplanning qualification plus minimum GCSE grades A-C/1-3 in Mathematics and English.
