Are you an experienced Architectural Assistant (Part 2 / 3) or Architectural Designer with a passion for high-quality residential design and a drive to take the next step in project leadership? Your Role

You will work closely with Project Leads, reporting to an Associate/Director, delivering complex, design-led residential and mixed-use projects at RIBA Stages 3 and beyond, including Gateway 2 submissions to the Building Safety Regulator. As a key member of our architectural design team, you will work alongside talented designers, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, to ensure projects are compliant and meet the highest design and technical standards.

What You Will Bring

  • Our ideal candidate has a background in residential design and delivery, with the ambition to progress their career into project leadership.
  • You will have professional experience working across all RIBA stages on large-scale UK residential, mixed-use or regeneration projects.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to liaise directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • You will thrive in our dynamic, open-plan studio where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central to how we work.
  • Experience delivering residential or mixed-use projects in the UK, ideally large-scale.
  • Working knowledge across all RIBA work stages, predominately 3-5.
  • The ability to lead packages within a project alongside the internal project team and collaborate with multidisciplinary consultant teams.
  • Confident in client, consultant, and contractor liaison.
  • Strong knowledge of Nationally Described Space Standards, the London Plan, and UK Building Regulations.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong design and technical skills with proven experience in practice.
  • Experience contributing to a Gateway 2 application.
  • Experience writing specifications in NBS Chorus.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp.
