The Learning & Development Apprentice will support the delivery of learning and development activity across the Noble Foods Group. Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager, the apprentice will assist in coordinating training activity, supporting learning systems, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring colleagues have a positive and engaging learning experience. This is a developmental role designed to provide hands-on experience across a broad range of L&D activities, while completing a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
- Support the coordination and administration of learning and development activity across the Noble Foods Group.
- Assist in scheduling training sessions, booking venues/rooms, arranging refreshments, and managing attendance lists.
- Support communication with learners, managers and stakeholders, ensuring clear joining instructions and training updates are shared.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure learning activity is recorded appropriately on systems and trackers.
- Support the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading training content, enrolling colleagues, monitoring completion and producing reports.
- Assist with the creation and updating of learning materials including presentations, workbooks, handouts and e-learning content.
- Support the delivery of internal training programmes through preparation of materials, evaluation forms and session set-up.
- Gather feedback from colleagues following training and support evaluation of learning effectiveness.
- Support the coordination of apprenticeship programmes, placements and early careers activity, ensuring learners have a robust and positive experience.
- Assist with wider development initiatives such as mentoring programmes, career pathways and internal learning opportunities.
- Support the L&D Manager in producing reporting and insights to keep learning and development high on the agenda.
- Help coordinate learning events such as workshops, roadshows, briefings, and development sessions.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external training providers to support delivery of programmes.
- Ensure all learning activity supports the company’s values and encourages a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Shared Accountabilities:
- Health & Safety responsibilities: Follow the health and safety policies and procedures. Report any hazards, incidents, or injuries to the team leader or manager. Use the personal protective equipment and clothing provided. Cooperate with the team leader or manager on health and safety matters. Participate in health and safety training and induction.
