We are currently looking to expand our bank of Freelance Tutors to join our academic team.
SQE programme – Dispute Resolution, Criminal Law and Practice ( London and Manchester), Wills and the Administration of Estates modules London/Leeds and Manchester
Law Conversion Course – Public Law and Criminal Law modules London and Manchester
BTC programme London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester
Job Purpose/Responsibilities
The role of the Tutor is to deliver high-quality teaching and learning at postgraduate levels, that reflect the current skills and capability requirements of lawyers. Tutors must have significant professional and/or academic experience in their discipline, as well as the enthusiasm to pass their passion for their specialist area on to students, learners, clients and peers.
You will be providing tuition on specific modules.These may include delivering across postgraduate modules on the SQE and LCC such as, Dispute Resolution, Criminal Law and Practice, Wills and the Administration of Estates, Public Law and Criminal Law to the best possible standard.
Role Requirements
- Does not need teaching experience.
- Professional and academic experience in their discipline
- Excellent command of the English language;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload;
- Ability to be flexible and to respond to changing priorities in a busy environment
- Punctual, good time management and prioritisation of workload
- Ability to work independently for short periods and as part of a team, whilst recognising when advice / input needs to be sought
