The Role: Due to continuing company expansion in the UK, we are now looking to recruit multiskilled, electrically biased maintenance engineers to work across a large busy manufacturing site in Shropshire. Using your experience as a maintenance engineer you will perform planned preventative, reactive and proactive maintenance duties on a wide variety of manufacturing, production, automated and PLC driven site equipment; and be rewarded with an industry leading package. This role is site based locally in the Shropshire / Staffordshire region and does not require field service or travel, so is ideal for an engineer looking for a great work / life balance alongside excellent earnings. Working a very appealing and flexible shift pattern (including days only options), this exciting position offers all the benefits that come with working for an award winning and world-renowned manufacturing organisation which have manufacturing sites across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative, reactive and proactive maintenance duties on a wide variety of manufacturing, production, automated and PLC driven site equipment.
- Maintain and repair equipment across a large busy manufacturing site on a site-based role (no field service or travel).
- Adopt a right first time, preventative approach to engineering maintenance and work to an industry-leading standard.
Qualifications:
- Experienced electrically biased maintenance engineers, multiskilled engineers, site engineers, service engineers or similar electrically qualified engineers with a background in a role similar to that described above.
- Candidates with any experience with PLCs, automation or mechatronic equipment will be of great interest; make such experience clear in your CV.
- Living locally in Shropshire / Staffordshire / West Midlands, ideally have supporting qualifications and be an excellent faultfinder, repair and maintenance engineer who enjoys a significant right-first-time and preventative approach to maintenance.
