Location: BPM SFX Oak Mill HQ (with travel)

Contract: Full time, permanent

As Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining robust health and safety systems across all BPM SFX operations. This is a hands-on role that combines office-based compliance with on-site risk management at live events. You will work closely with project managers, technicians, clients, venues and local authorities to ensure all effects activity is delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently.

  • Lead and continuously improve BPM SFX’s Health, Safety and Risk management framework
  • Produce and review risk assessments, method statements, COSHH and H&S documentation
  • Manage and oversee on-site risk assessments, safety briefings and compliance checks
  • Act as the main H&S point of contact for clients, venues, production teams and local authorities
  • Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation
  • Support training, competence and certification requirements for staff and contractors
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and audit trails across the business
  • Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Willing and able to travel regularly to sites, venues and events across the UK and internationally
