Our customers are increasingly turning to cloud-based solutions to increase capacity and enhance functionality without having to commit to expensive infrastructure costs. Over the last 18 years, Callstream has developed an established reputation for the delivery of bespoke, highly effective, integrated call management solutions.
The Callstream sales team is growing. We are seeking an energetic, ambitious, and goal-oriented Business Development Manager to join us in expanding our market base. The role will be extremely varied; you will be tasked with selling technology solutions to new businesses. The role will be predominantly field-based but will also include some telephone meetings as you seek to enhance relationships with your customers and establish new ones.
Key Responsibilities:- Research, identify and manage new business and sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build relationships with multiple levels of decision-makers and influence successful long-term business relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to identify customer requirements and build strong relationships with prospects face-to-face and on the telephone.
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail with computer literacy.
- Provide weekly reporting against KPIs and manage all contact and opportunities through internal company CRM.
- Convert sales pipeline each month to achieve sales targets.
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle, gathering requirements, submitting proposals, and negotiating to win new business.
- Increase and maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Proven track record of building new business (preferably technology products and solutions).
- Win and retain new business and consistently overachieve against targets.
- Self-motivated, driven, and result-focused team player.
- Highly persuasive, consultative, and competitive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think outside the box.
- Existing experience or knowledge of technologies such as PCI DSS, IVR, and Contact Centre solutions.
- Existing experience or knowledge of technologies such as Call Recording and Hosted Telephony.
