We have a number of opportunities for talented Senior Qualified Architects with residential project experience to join our award-winning profession group in our Manchester studio. The successful candidate will be expected to make key design decisions driving high quality concepts from inception through to completion.

Reporting to your Architect Director, you will work collaboratively and creatively in a team environment and will be expected to initiate concepts and lead the team’s delivery of them. You will mentor the team and take responsibility for their output. You will also lead the collaboration process with other professionals and disciplines from both inside and outside of the practice to deliver highly coordinated solutions.

Requirements:
  • Senior Qualified Architect with proven post qualification experience in residential design.
  • Technical and software skills with a portfolio that demonstrates excellent design skills across a range of relevant projects.
  • Skills in briefing, concept design development and implementation.
  • Experience leading the engagement process with stakeholders including clients and contractors, managing that process.
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines with a collaborative team-working style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills verbally, graphically and in writing.
  • Strong IT skills and experience delivering high-profile projects within BIM design environments using Revit as the preferred platform.
  • Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint and SketchUp desirable but not essential.
