As a Design Management Trainee, you will be directly involved in the design and project management of construction projects. Your career is all about managing the design process in relation to producing a set of drawings that a building can be built from. You will do this by working with architects and design consultants to complete the clients brief at best value.
Our programme will give you a great foundation; you will get exposure to many areas of our business through placements in different disciplines such as Quantity Surveying, Site Management and Estimating to develop your understanding of the construction business as a whole and not just your chosen specialism of Design Management.
Our management trainee programme is 2 to 5 years in duration (depending upon your entry point) and will give you the chance to earn while you learn and give you valuable work experience alongside part-time study for a level 6 qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon. Upon graduation from the programme you will progress into an Assistant Design Manager role.
