We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team. In this role, you will carry out painting and decorating works across construction projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Preparing surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning and priming prior to decoration.
  • Applying paint, stain, varnish and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork and other surfaces.
  • Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating works.
  • Repairing minor surface defects before decorating.
  • Protecting surrounding areas and ensuring work areas are left clean and tidy.
  • Working from drawings, specifications and instructions provided by the site team.
  • Maintaining painting tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Reporting any defects or additional works required to the site management team.
