They are seeking a Senior Surface Water Management Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team with a national remit. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of drainage as an integrated part of green-blue infrastructure and masterplanning. With a minimum of 3 years of post-graduation experience, the successful candidate will have expertise in drainage design, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS), and possess knowledge of industry-standard drainage networks design.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant subject.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduation experience.
- Competence in AutoCAD and Hydraulic modeling, preferably Microdrainage.
- Proven track record in delivering technically excellent projects on time and to budget.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Experience in team working on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Competence in the use of Civil3D.
- Proven record of developing client relationships.
- Attained or working towards relevant professional qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts and designs for drainage and SuDS for different clients.
- Project and design management of schemes, delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain awareness of changes in legislation.
- Identify business development opportunities.
- Prepare financial and technical proposals for project opportunities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams working on projects and site teams.
