Overview
Willmott Dixon are looking to recruit a SHE Manager to join our central SHE team to provide support within our London and the East region (Northern home counties, East Anglia). This role will be predominantly site based covering project sites across the region; there is the flexibility to work from home some of the time when you are not site or office based.
Candidates should ideally be able to monitor, advise, support, enforce and report upon standards of health, safety and environment and compliance to statutory and company requirements.
Responsibilities
The main role of a SHE Manager is to ensure our sites keep up to date with current legislation and group policy and procedures and ensure this is effectively communicated. You will also look for new and innovative ways of working to improve Health, Safety and Environment performance and ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
You will comply with the duties and responsibilities set out in Group H,S&E policies, ensure compliance across the company, provide leadership and support to staff and supply chain on all such matters.
All accidents and incidents should be responded to within appropriate timescales ensuring that internal and statutory notifications are in place which provide sufficient detail to protect our business interests and give an accurate account of the root cause of the accident/incident along with details of corrective action.
In addition you will be responsible for promoting and encouraging excellent standards and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental management within our business.

Requirements
Essential and Desirable Criteria
- Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
- CSCS Card
- FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal
- IOSH affiliated member
- Valid Driving licence
- Maintaining good standards of HS&E on construction and housing projects.
- Working on a wide range of construction methods and trades from groundwork\βs to internal fit-out and finishing trades.
- Working with project team to develop innovative ways of working which improve HS&E standards.
- Reviewing new products and standards and making recommendations for implementation.
