At Bridge House, care and connection are at the heart of everything we do. Every student is welcomed each morning by familiar staff and begins the day with our Nurture Breakfast — a calm, structured start that helps them feel settled and ready to learn. Throughout the day, our skilled staff provide enhanced support in and out of lessons, including during break and lunchtime, with structured activities that promote social skills and emotional literacy.
Our trauma-informed, non-punitive approach supports students to build self‑awareness and develop the tools they need to self‑regulate, manage relationships, and thrive. We believe in restorative practice, where students are supported to learn from their mistakes in a positive and constructive way. A well‑structured, individualized rewards system motivates pupils to engage and take pride in their progress, both personally and academically.

The successful candidate will be registered and will hold a BSC or profession specific equivalent qualification, along with the following characteristics:

- Communication – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Positive working relationships, good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
