Role Overview
As a Plasterer – Multi Trader, you will be responsible for the delivery and completion of repairs within our customers' homes and empty homes (voids). You will have a core trade in plastering, with the relevant training, experience, and trade skills to cover a wide range of plastering-related repairs and works. Ideally, you will also have skills in other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, tiling, decorating, bricklaying, groundworks, and fencing, enabling you to deliver a high standard of service and quality.
As a valued member of the bpha In House Maintenance Service Team, you will be provided with uniform, tools, a company van (for business use only), and a fuel card.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete plastering and associated multi-trade repairs to a high standard
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring positive outcomes for residents
- Adhere to all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) policies, procedures, and safe working practices
- Maintain van stock and order materials responsibly
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers
- Attend training, toolbox talks, and appraisals as required
- Ensure company property and equipment are well-maintained
- Maximise first-time fix rates and productivity
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration
